Well, i never expected to on a site like this one. During my retirement party i was given a card with a name and password. They had set up an account for me. Working most of life in emergencies the people i have worked with are closer than family. So they thought this would be funny. I guess because they have always teased me about being like a boy scout. My parents were alcoholics and chain smokers. i have never smoked anything bit a huge rump roast. I am here now for the rest of the month and i know that i have a better chance of winning the lottery then meeting a woman with a passion for life, loving person, likes to hug, smuggle on the bed and watch movies. I am one of the last of my kind, i a romantic. Were on the endangered list. I just would like to be friends with a woman who does bot have her mind pre-set on the type of man she thinks she wants. this is not a dating site as far and the men go. they show you what god gave them thinking it will impress women. I volunteered for a camp for with cancer and their siblings who get left out sometimes. If you look for a volunteer organization like that, the men are pre-screened. they have big loving hearts or they would not be volunteering knowing they will loose some of the they have grown to love. So when the time that my brothers and sisters bought for me i will go back to remembering to breathe in and out every day, treat everyone with respect until they show me that they o not deserve my respect and kindness. An elderly woman knocked on my front door, and i live in the country. It had been raining and she was soaked to her bones. She had ridden her bike more than 10 miles to find some kind of work. I got her warmed up and put her bike into the back of my truck to driver her home. I had about $75.00 in my wallet that i gave her, then ii took her to publix, where we bought food that she needed. mostly canned and fresh fruits. I got to where lived and their sat a little shack made from a mini-camper. In my days as a paramedic i saw too much of this. I got her information and told her i would come back and check on her. I got her some help from social services and other agencies. they have found her a place to live in a relatives home. They had no idea where she was. The thing i want to leave you with is people do not look up from their phones to even look in her eyes and offer help. If not me \, who, and if not now, when. Well i hope i will make friends on here but even though i am not helping every day on my old job, i miss the interaction with people. I was blessed with two amazing who had to endure their mom leaving us, Being 6 & 8 years old, i tried to make up for the fact that their mom ran off with her boss, I am not patting myself on the back because i think i can do more, i need to more. ok off the soap box and i am getting into the hot tub, play some music and be amazed by the stars in the night sky. In the country no light pollution. If you read all of this i will be amazed. people now only read the first few lines on anything.
