I live in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. I hope that you find me compassionate, interesting, fun and funny. I have had a fortunate ride through life - fine upbringing, good education, and a fairly fascinating career that has allowed me to see and create many fabulous things and people. Let's see, other background.... Grew up in Europe (American parents), lived in Hawaii and California (I know, I've been very lucky). While I can negotiate Washington, D.C., I do have a bit more of a "Western spirit" - positive, glass half-full, we can do that because it's never been done before kinda creativity. Speaking of "creative", yes, I'm a fun and successful creative...I don't eat granola nor have tattoos..but I have no prejudice against either. I don't sulk....I'm the happy-kind that is reflective in my (somewhat well-known) work! I have a youthful, curious mind. Love what I do, enjoy learning new things and having engaging experiences. If you're looking for someone that will eventually retire, I can't imagine doing so. All true creative personalities continue to create. What else would we do? A rocking chair would drive me crazy. When I turn 100, I'll switch to writing. But besides....100 is way, way, way off - LOL!. What else? I exercise daily. I love participatory sports as I've been an athlete all my life, especially in youth. It's a story about how I got to America... What I'm hoping for.... I am looking for that someone wonderful, as we all are. Accomplished in her own right, comfortable and interested in the world. Youthful with a curious mind that keeps her young in spirit. And someone with heart and sensitivity, and a caring outlook. Much of my work has a Norman Rockwellian signature...and that reflects my outlook on life. If we look about, we see how nicely people interact in the day-to-day. When we turn on the TV or read news on the internet, we discover that we hate each other. The news (not to leave out the pundits) - irrespective of conservative or liberal - searches out the negative. America is like a beauty with a couple blemishes that are being worked on....and that's the wonderful thing: the effort to make us even more wonderful. Or as said...”Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths, wrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being me, have only my dreams; I spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.” Looking for a female mate that is perhaps liberal-minded (least non-judgmental). So, that's about it. Oh....this past year I grew a little "George Clooney beard"...not that it helped make me more Clooney-ish. But just a tad hipper - LOL! Thank you for reading all this...
