I have loved Friday actually the afternoon of the Friday since i was a school kid

I vividly remember looking at the round clock on the wall, desiring for the school day to be over and the weekend to begin.
As an adult I don't that as often, but on a long week I definitely look forward to having the two days free from professional responsibilities.

No, I don't believe Friday the 13th is unlucky, but I do tend to be more careful when I drive. Can't be too sure.

Those are some really interesting facts about Friday I even asked hubby about the Navy and the Marines, he said it didn't matter if your in the Military and you have to set sail your going regardless of what day it is..lol

He said he had never heard of that before. I love Fridays because I used to be so busy helping the Seniors and I miss that but not all the work it entailed..

Thanks for sharing this interesting all about Friday Blog.. I hope you enjoy your weekend..

Possibly because companies tend to let go of employees on Fridays.

In British history, Friday was the day public hangings were held.
You just had to dangle that in front of us didn't you?

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Yes, that is definitely true. The bulk of my work life was spent in the corporate sector so Monday to Friday schedule was the standard. Occasionally, special projects required me to be onsite on weekends.

I can identify with watching the clock on Fridays and it always felt like those days were longer than any of the others. It's one of the reasons companies started adopting 'casual Fridays' as employees' minds would start to shut down early afternoons and start transitioning to upcoming weekend interests.

I never developed a fear or phobia about the number 13 nor Friday the 13th. However, it is so prevalent triskaidekaphobia is fear or avoidance of the number 13. It is also a reason for the fear of Friday the 13th, called paraskevidekatriaphobia or friggatriskaidekaphobia. The term was used as early as 1910 by Isador Coriat in Abnormal Psychology.

I can understand how the Navy or Marines would NOT be worried about what day of the week they would be deployed. As you said, you go when you are ordered to! Since the pandemic started, every day seems like the weekend! Hope yours is a fun one.

When I was in the corporate world, dismissals Never happened on Fridays nor on Mondays. With my English and Irish ancestry, had to give a nod to it even though it wasn't pleasant information.
