Sex In Jamaica... or in The Kitchen... FrankeeZee Had Hope... 😊

I was over at Gina's place - *FrankeeZee's cousin - last Saturday. She and her husband Gino ( yes... Gina and Gino ), had bought a home entertainment system. FrankeeZee and I were crouched in the living room, buried in bubble wrap and styrofoam... hooking it up for them. The house was popping full of screaming and raucous adults.

Gina... and Maria ( another cousin), were sitting in the nearby kitchen - their two babies, crying on their laps. Their four other , were squealing and yelling ; chasing each other round... and under, Gina's large kitchen table.

Amidst the cacophony, the two 'Cousin Moms' jealously critiqued the latest pictures, from (their younger cousin) Lina - on vacation in Jamaica. Maria pointed to the cell phone and exclaimed (to no one in particular) ; "Look at Lina standing there on the beach. A fricken pineapple in her hand , a palm tree by her side... and the fricken ocean in the background. How is she there ... and we're HERE ? HOW ?"

"Condoms, " FrankeeZee blurted out to me, under his breath.

He plugged an RCA jack into the main console. I looked at my buddy and shook my head.

"What? It's true, for fucks sake," he rasped, nodding.

That 'new' wireless sound system we were installing, had speakers, in every room in the house. When FrankeeZee and I did the sound check, I'm not sure if anyone in THAT house, even heard it.

The were busy bursting bubble wrap, as FrankeeZee and I, finally escaped. We waved goodbye to 'all' and scurried into FrankeeZee's Jeep.

Sitting in that driveway, far from the mayhem (content in total silence)... we looked at each other and smiled. FrankeeZee spoke ; "When I have ? They're gonna be quiet . Ya know the type Paul. No screaming and yelling or crazy stuff. "

"How ya gonna manage that, Frankee? You're not into . You don't understand them or like them. You're never gonna have . It's too late for you."

FrankeeZee looked at me, slowly shook his head and smiled wryly. For a second... I thought I'd hurt Frankee's feelings. And then he spoke ; "Paul... get fucking serious! I'm gonna adopt . Hopefully... a university graduate."

FrankeeZee grinned a wide grin. Before I could reply, he'd started the engine, turned on the radio and was cruising out onto the main road. The volume was so loud, we couldn't talk. Just as well. I had nothing to say. What could I say?

I can't see FrankeeZee with , at all. Some folks are built for and some... aren't. Right?

I always thought I'd have kids and I'm glad I did. On the job experience is all it took. The verdict is still out on how well I (we) managed. Time will tell, right?
They seem to be doing all right. ðŸĪ”

Another thoughtful and funny story.

Observing others (we have no children), you get to spoil the grandkids and then send them home. A small amount of revenge on the parents for when they were kids.

kids are only as bad as the parents let them be. but good kids are worth every breath you have and every little headache that may pop up from time to time.

I agree, 'Some folks are built for children and some... aren't'. Growing up, I wasn't sure I would get married, let alone have kids. Marriage lasted under 4 years and I have the 'millionaire's family': a daughter and a son. No grandkids anticipated and that's OK...I would never try to guilt my kids into giving me any.

(p.s. great pics to support the ongoing adventures of FrankeeZee and you)

It didn’t turn out for me to have kids. Sometimes, on gloomy days when I’m worried about climate change and democracy going down the tubes, I’m ok with it turning out that way.

I feel quite sure that you’ll enjoy grandchildren!

I always figured my kids would take care of me when I got old. All they say now is they plan on putting me in a home as soon as they can! Brats.

So.. you seem to have experience. 🙄 lol 😂

Perhaps they'll be better equipped to fix it. ðŸĪ”

I think they do blame us, probably rightfully so. Go google "OK Boomer".

I'm sure I've changed a diaper at some point...maybe babysitting for my sister? I certainly don't remember specifics though.

The man I was involved with for 13 years did have a son so I was a pseudo stepmom, but he was six years old when we met, so already out of diapers

For years, I didn't want kids. I didn't think I'd be a good mother. Then I met my husband. Giving him a child was the "ultimate sacrifice of love". Turns out I was better at motherhood than I expected and my one little offspring has turned out pretty good.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

OK Done it! lol 😂
You're such a wealth of info. It's funny but sometimes stuff slips thorough the cracks. Ya know what I mean?
And then my daughter reminds me ;"Didja read this?" And of course I hadn't. Then I do.
Nah... diapers is not something I'd expect you to remember. I imagine... it's buried somewhere - pretty deep..
That's where I'd bury it. ðŸ˜ķðŸ˜Ū 😊

You know, it's true. You get a vibe from people and you can tell if they may or may not be good parents. I can't judge myself but I really do love children and I love interacting with them. Small miniature people... in the development stage. lol 😂

I have 3 kids.... Motherhood didn't come easy to me, I wasn't one of those people lived and died to be a mom. I love them SO much, and you know what? It eventually does come to you, you may not be like all the other parents who attend every event, every pto shit show, every game, but you are where you need to be when it counts. You're their #1.

Why do I call motherhood the ultimate sacrifice of love? Kids are more of a ball and chain than a spouse. Your life is no longer your own - at least for the first 20 years or so. Heck, in the beginning, not even your body is your own. Even your name changes! I took the responsibility of parenting very seriously. It's only now - with my child a fully fledged adult - that I'm finding the joy.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Oh, it's definitely the case that some people should not have kids...then there are those who'd make great parents, and want to be parents, and don't get the chance...

I have a lot of respect for the people who know they don't want to raise kids and choose not to.

Then again... if those who can't, figure it out and decide NOT to have kids - that's a good thing, no? ðŸĪ”
I mean, the alternative is those who think they can - and make a mess of it.
But... I see your point.
