....A question I sometimes ponder judging by some of the sub-literate, lascivious and not to mention cringe inducing attempts to woo females as practiced by many men on this site (and indeed others of its ilk). Said inept chat up techniques have been revealed unto me by some of the ladies present who all seem to boast a plethora of horror stories concerning the aforementioned dolts. I muse, do the same individuals actually approach ladies in 'real world' social venues in such an obtuse, licentious manner or are they merely disclosing a hitherto supressed, festering and vulgar inner self, subsequently unfettered based on the relative anonimity and comfort so provided by the medium of the internet? Either way, I hardly believe it to be a distortion of the truth to state that civility and courteousness in todays society is on the decline....sharply. I have always prided myself on good manners and etiquette; Indeed, I was brought up with the saying, 'Manners make'th the man.' - an adage that I absolutely hold to be true and as relevant today as it was at the presumed time of its inception. To any fellow well mannered chaps reading this, fly the flag for gentlemen; we may be but a rare breed now but are not yet quite extinct.

.....that is the question.
Hmmmm.....I've been reading a few members blog compositions on the site and have greatly enjoyed a great many of them.
Speaking broadly, I have observed that they fall into a few catagories:
a) Those that detail (in great depth) the relevant members sexual exploits (note: whilst many are doubtlessly genuine, there are equally as many which are clearly works of complete fiction - the author overtly externalising their fantasies as factual) - still, whether veritable or else fallacious, they generally make for intriguing reading indeed
b) Those wonderfully personal and intimate entries which express the authors opinions and resultant mood on any given subject, be it politics, the price of meat today (expensive!!!) or else bemoaning the fact that their car wouldn't start that morning; Although such subject matter may appear ostensibly trivial on the surface, it is just such little details which give the greatest insight into the true nature of the individual writing them.
c) Possibly my favourite type; the humourous blogs which exist solely to entertain those fortuitous enough to read them.
In light of the above, I finally decided to have a bash at a blog myself (do I hear a murmour of consternation from you, good reader?)
Suffice to say, it is my sincere hope that you will enjoy reading my subsequent ramblings.
All the best
