In The New Year

2016 was just an okay year for me. Hopefully there will be better days ahead in 2017. As for myself, I would love to find someone to fall in love with.
It's all about location...
Throughout my life I already lived in NJ,NY, VA & MD. Not sure where the road will take me next. I do understand the older I get why one moves to a warmer location.
In 2017 I'll do some research on more of the southern states. Don't know much about the Carolinas but they still have the change of seasons and Winters should be a bit milder than the mid-Atlantic and northern areas.

***'Bout to turn 40 years of living two genders
Since the mid-seventies I've been living two different very normal life styles: as male and or as female. This includes working, dating, shopping and just day-to-day activities as both genders.
I am very happy and full of self confidence as either gender. Throughout my life as both male and or female, I've completed and achieved all my goals, Being so proud of who I am, and what I stand for. I've spent most of my working years behind the scene of the Music Industry working at different Recording Studios up around NYC.
I left the music industry in '92 and became very much involved in the corporate video field in the Washington, DC area.
I'm a Bi-male CD/TG ...hate's that term - I'm so not into labels. I'm just a good down-to-earth person (when being male and or female). I've been very much involved with the GLBT community, along with other Associations and out in the public eye.
*** Proud to say: Over the years I've done a ton of PSAs and Video work for the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, DC.
Semi retired back in the Summer of 2011 - Thinking I'm one of the few here on Heated Affairs that's really not looking for sex...
40 years where did it go... Time does go quick - Enjoy it!

My Walk On The Wild Side

The year was 1972. I was listening to 102.7 WNEW-FM in NY. Lou Reed came out with "Walk On The Wild Side".
Holly came from Miami F.L.A.
Hitch-hiked her way across the U.S.A.
Plucked her eyebrows on the way
Shaved her legs and then he was a she
She said, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side,
Said, hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.
Fast forward to the Summer of 1976. I was 17 and turning 18 in July. That Summer changed my life forever. Not sure for the better or worse. No, I didn't grow up in Miami F.L.A. I grew up in central Jersey. But that Summer I found myself changing the gender role from male to female. I bought most of my clothes / items from a store called Lee's Mardigras. I became friends with the owner Lee Brewster who sadly passed away many years ago. Spending so much time in Times Square NYC dressed as a female. 1 day after my 18th birthday I found myself getting a job and working at the Show World Center in NY. That Summer I grew up so quick and became educated in Street Smarts.
As time passed by I found myself hanging out at Plato's Retreat and Sally's Hideaway. For those that knew the NYC scene in the 70's & 80's you know what I'm talking about.
Was just web surfing. can't believe I found this photo of Show World Center...
Looking back at my early years ...I had so much fun and have to admit I'm lucky to be able to talk about it.
