Just My Middle Finger Away

Of what use is a philosopher who doesn't hurt anybody's feelings?

Most men are within just a finger's breadth of being mad.

Does Anyone Know ...

... how I can link up this picture on my blog with comments that I make on other people's posts? I'm only a standard so I can't post a photo with my comments on other blogs and thought if I could link this photo to my comments it would help reel in some chickadees. You wouldn't believe the women I have picked up with it. Even a FMF once. One on the seat behind me and the other on the front rack. Fun stuff, I'd grab a reach around every time I shifted gears.

This thing is a chick magnet.

It's the only pic I've got but I know it just won't get old seeing the same one with every comment I make. With the responses I'm sure to get, I might even be encouraged to comment more often. With the photo attached. You guys just can't get enough. I know I wouldn't.

Can anyone help out a bro'?

Fleeting Vindication ...

Write a post claiming vindication for having another blogger's post removed because of a violation of TOU's.

Then your post is removed/denied because of a violation of TOU's.

Absolutely fucking priceless.

edit1: Screenshots available once the appropriate permissions have been granted.

edit2: The resolution seems quite simple, even to a stup.id man such as myself.

Do I have your permission to post the screenshots from your blog?

edit 3: Yes or no? This is not a good look for someone who claims to never backing down.

final edit:
It's clear by your silence, you do not intend to give consent. My unsolicited advice would be to take a break from this. Enjoy life. You like to write. Take a beginning writing course and learn how. Become the person you write about.

May your future be as bright as your past.

I will open up the comments awaiting your response.

Dear Heated Affairs Management:

Will you please start enforcing the section of the TOU's that prohibits the copying/pasting/distribution of blog posts without the Author's express permission.

Dear Heated Affairs Members:

You fucking scofflaws. Will you please coordinate the copying/pasting/distribution of blog posts as I am inundated with the same shitty blog posts by the same person without her permission day after day.

Mea Culpa: Dio Eats Some Shit...

I received an email from a reader this morning in response a post I wrote recently, Me? Frugal? (since deleted, if you missed it, too bad, so sad). I requested and received permission to reprint it in part. If you are going to rip Dio a new one, please use this as the gold standard. It is, in a word, magnificent. Professional grade.

Sooo... did it ever occur to you that a quick run through the washing machine with TIDE or whatever detergent you use, is not going to cut through and eradicate the super industrial strength bacteria and fecal matter that  is laced through the fabric of the wife's lacy victoria secret panties?   Unless things are washed on hot and with bleach, bacteria will survive through a regular wash cycle.  (Even then, I wouldn't swear it was 100% clean)

On an average a woman is susceptible to infections from her regular panties if they're not washed thoroughly.   I cannot even imagine what kind of new age plague you'd wreak upon her with canine fecal bacteria meeting up with the moist environment of a human vagina.  (And you thought the Novel Coronavirus was a pain in your ass.  You'd be all over the news, "Good evening, today scientists in (my location) have discovered a new bacterial staph infection not related to Covid .  Researchers have found this new life threatening illness,  originated as canine infection tracheobronchitis, which is a highly contagious respiratory disease that appears to have mutated  into a staphylococcus bacteria, jumping species to a human host causing MRSA. )

Curious if you would wear something that the do.g ate, journeyed through his digestive track and summarily shat of his rectum...?  not sure if you're actually frugal or you  just decided you're finished with marital bliss and this is your idea of a smoother exit strategy.  It would certainly work for me.  "My panties were WHERE?  and you did WHAT with them? Four times already?!   How nice...  where do I sign???

My humble opinion is that if something was swallowed and ventured through a do.g's digestive track, it can stay in the steaming pile of shit in the backyard where it belongs.  Game over.

I'm scratching my head over your question regarding frugality.  Is it frugal or just a sadistic sense of humor...?  LOL.  Maybe a bit of both?

Science Fun Fact #1: Itty-Bitty Titties

From Dio's Digest of Science Oddities:

Canadian researchers have recently discovered a new species of a shrew, the Red-Gray Canadian Shrew. The name is derived from the odd coloring of the fur, a strange reddish-orange tint with streaks of gray, not found in any other species of shrew. Other distinguishing characteristics include a large protruding belly with a handful of itty-bitty titties.

(Note: Either those researchers have really small hands or that's a really big shrew.)

... heavy sigh...

Another day, another plagiarizer.

He's a smart guy. I know because he uses lots of big words.

He used the exact same words in similar order for a post comment as another writer did elsewhere. On a different site. Only they wrote their words first. They should be given their credit due. Him? Copying and mixing their words a bit, make them his own. How does the person that actually wrote the analysis feel about their words being pilfered?

How highly would John Keats, if he were alive today, regard someone that appropriates writings found elsewhere in the abyss we call the internet?

Here's a big word I've never seen him use.

What, Me? Passionate?
Posted:Dec 6, 2020 10:32 am
Last Updated:Dec 17, 2020 6:57 pm

There are few things that I am passionate about. I'm just not a passionate type person. There are hobbies that I have/had a passion for, I have a garage full, a closet full, a drawer full of passions that I've had that have since waned. Probably accumulating items that would border on hoard-dom.

One thing that I have always been, and always will be passionate about is plagiarism. Plagiarism is defined by Oxford as follows:

the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.

There are four types of plagiarism, three of which I am not going to discuss here. The one that I do want to address is direct plagiarism which is defined as: Direct plagiarism is the word-for-word transcription of a section of someone else's work, without attribution and without quotation marks. -- Bowdoin College

"Generally, plagiarism is not in itself a crime, but like counterfeiting fraud can be punished in a court for prejudices caused by copyright infringement, violation of moral rights, or torts. In academia and industry, it is a serious ethical offense." -- Wikipedia

Let me be clear, anything copied from any source, including blog posts and posted as your own is plagiarism. Anything. Copied. Once is an accident, twice a coincidence and thrice a pattern.

I have seen posts here that not only contain direct plagiarism but include the exact same photographs that were used in blogs posts elsewhere on the internet. My respect for those bloggers is waning exponentially as I read "their" post. Then I read comments from readers that "love your writing". "Your words paint such a ..." followed by a response from the blogger, "Thank you for your kind words ...", leading to the self-congratulatory circle-jerk by all involved.

Give me a fucking break.

My respect just crossed the x-axis into negative territory. It will almost guarantee my reaction.

The person that actually wrote the piece, if they write anything like I do, struggled over each word, phrase, sentence, paragraph before posting their piece to the cold cruel world and then risks the harsh judgment of anything and everything a real writer puts out there.

The plagiarizer? He/she risks nothing. Chances are the post was liked and commented on by dozens, hundreds, thousands of previous readers on the original post so success will be guaranteed when copied and pasted to their own blog here.

You know you didn't write the piece. You know you copied, pasted and sometimes made minor edits to someone else's hard work. A kindergartener can do what you just did, they just don't know any better. Or maybe you both do. And then you take credit when the gratuitous adulation rolls in.

You're making a mockery of your readers that actually believe you can write what you just cntrl-c cntrl-v-ed.

You, sir/madam plagiarizer, are a fucking chickenshit.

An interesting chain of events has happened over the last few days. I would like to relate the timeline of the events and then ask a few questions.

On September 27, 2020, a fellow blogger contacted me through my private mailbox and asked me to explain a point I had made in one of my posts, they didn't understand the context. I gave the timeline to them, starting with the fact that the whole thing was started by a comment that another completely different blogger had made on one of my posts. The particular blogger that made the comment has since left the site but left their blog active.

Later that same day I visited the inactive member's blog to see who had visited lately as I have periodically done since she made the comment on my blog. My username was the only one that had been showing up on the "Recent Visitors" list as of late but I did notice earlier that a certain user had visited on or around the date, August 2, 2020, as did a number of the "usual suspects" that had seen my post and the comments.

On September 27th, almost two months after my original post and the instigating comment, the same day the fellow blogger contacted me, that same certain user appeared as had visited the since departed member's blog. Of course, the recent visitor's list does not time-stamp recent visitor's visits so there is no way for me, a standard member, to find out the exact time the visit had been made (before or after my response to the fellow blogger) but because I am inherently suspicious, it seems a bit too coincidental to have that certain user visit the exact same day that I replied to the inquisitive fellow blogger in my private mailbox.

I might note here, that the latest previous date on the Recent Visitor's List was August 24, 2020, 34 days earlier, by an uninvolved person.

Since then, I have been the only visitor to the other blog that shows up on the list since that certain person's visit on the 27th. Today is the 30th. That certain user visits my blog and profile daily, sometimes two and three times a day. They have not visited (at least by record of the Recent Visitors) the other blog in three or four days.

I also noticed that the "Last Updated" date-time stamp on the other blog updates itself to the current date and time that I visit. It does not do that on any of the other blogs that I visit.

Does anyone have any idea what could be going on here?

Is it possible for non-employees/members of the site to read private mail-boxes?

Or is this all coincidental with the probability of 0.000001%?

I would really have liked to have focused on the content of the post because it was very well written, but you know what kept me from doing that and really stuck out to me?

There weren't any missing words.
