The First Post…took me three weeks

The First Post is a First Impression.

If you haven't guessed from my the title of this blog, I am a Media & Communications professional as well as a Renewable Energy and Green Technology consultant.
Without doubt, the green and ochre colour scheme of my blog further gives an impression that the picture with salmon scarf and Sailor style Tattoos that I might be a vegan or gluten fearing hipster.
Luckily, the many years of living in Malaysia, Australia and Thailand and even doing a little hunting has meant are still meats other waiting be eaten but definitely not bats!
is a reason why not many mammals like us eat bats as within it is a collection of nematodes, bacteria and viruses which even the healthiest of us will succumb very quickly too.
Well, like the Elephant, a symbol of power, reverence and loyalty in South East Asia, its the smallest things that it fears, the things that we cannot see but are .
The Covid-19 virus has affected all of us. Even though I would probably not be affected by the virus as living in mosquito infested areas has given many South East Asians a little advantage against at least the transmissions of it.
In part, this protection comes from eating many different types of Flora and Fauna.
However, as I found out last week, I might not be susceptible to the virus but my mental state and a fear of an imagined phantom, spirit or desperate people lashing out at a foreigner was slowly becoming paranoia. Luckily, Vitamin CBD helps a lot.
But, the developing world, like most countries in South East Asia, is an intangible and undefined sense of community found in the blue collar areas, a sense that is so little that is no fear of having nothing .

The Thais call it Tam Bon,

It means to make merit and they do this by giving food and other items the many monks that ask for alms as well as the less fortunate and the many animals around them. But, this practice also means that most Thais will give their last baht as will be someone else gives them a meal or later in the .
So, this first thing that you learn as a Thai Buddhist is also a practice which is inadvertently passed down Thais of all religion through a process termed Cultural Proximity.
Its a small gesture but it is a cultural practice which has an intangible underlying quality we cannot comprehend but we know its significance in giving us a a little “karmic safety net”.

Well, time to end and sleep and I hope everyone will stay safe, sane and patient.

Give what you can man, woman, or animal.

.
A bit of trivia, If you remember this band, who were the guest or cameo vocalist and instrumentalist on their 1st Number one hit in 1989. Everybody knowsLady Miss Kier, Dj Dimitry and Jungle DJ Towa Tei.

Time to watch the happiest, hippiest and trippiest music video which defined the 90’s for me at least. Also, the two musicians are in it.

Cheers,
