Fully shaved? Including the kitty or peach????

Plus, it's cold, what's a little leg hair to keep you warm! LOL

Good job on the pound. It's a journey, embrace it. Be proud. We are all proud of you.

Keep it going.

Gone gone gone oh pound of flesh
One down with nine more to be rid
Gone gone gone oh plentiful hairs
Smooth and sleek hoping to seek
Wandering hands to appreciate
The efforts both hard and sublime
Eagerly awaiting that day of fruition
When the revealed form elicits pure need
Gone gone gone all clothes and inhibitions
Gone gone gone loneliness become as one

Don't give up is right .
Over my start of my hunting season I gained 5lbs
Go figure out walking around but still sitting longer then walking
Eating my morning bagel cheap cheese and peanut butter later a sandwich maybe an apple.
Along with Thanksgiving it's more the sweets
Pies , chocolate cream ,and apple oh the creamy cheesecake too
But happy to yesterday the scale read 117.9 down from 221.5
Little by little I'll be back to 215 and hope to be 210 by January.
my goal is 200 someday

So I hope you hit your goal, you well feel better when you do.

Well done, Ninja.

Your image of the yellow pound of fat reminds me of a med-school student I dated many years ago. The cadaver she and her med-school partner shared had been overweight while alive. She was so put-off by the (yes yellow) globules of fat around (especially) the abdomen of her cadaver that she dropped 10 pounds rapidly . . . and kept it off.

Speaking of yellow, my own mental trick when trying to lose weight . . . somehow I inevitably gain 6 or so pounds over Christmas . . . is to think of each pound as 4 quarter-pound sticks of butter, fastened to my waist.

A quarter-pound is roughly 900 calories. Generally too hard to lose a pound - or even half-a-pound - in a single day. But losing a quarter-pound in a day, is definitely possible. For instance, reducing calories in by 300 while doing a 600 calorie-burn workout.

Mentally, I think of the 6 extra pounds as 24 sticks of butter, with my waistline - somehow fat mainly accumulates there - shrinking by a stick of butter each day. Three-plus weeks into January, I'm back to feeling positive when I look in the mirror again.

Of course every year, I resolve to NOT gain those holiday-pounds. So far, so good this year. One small silver-lining from this miserable pandemic, possibly.

Keep at it, Ninja. The weight-loss, I mean. The shaving part is up to you - small smile.
