Yeah I know, what else is new right? I can't remember what I was dreaming about last night, so I don't know if that played a factor in my condition? I do recall something from my dreams regarding a black fox though. Though I don't think I've ever seen a fox, black or other wise in the wilds, or a zoo for that matter. Oh, I'm sure there are some in my area, we have lots of critters that come and go around here. Deer are plentiful, birds too numerous to count, fuzzy bunnies, raccoons, wood chucks, and of course skunks. The latter is what I run into most, looking for a meal in the dumpsters I'll happen upon one while dumping trash in the mornings. As luck would have it I've never gotten sprayed by one. They usually see or hear me coming and skitter off for the woods. The most unusual animal I've ever seen ( or thought I saw ) was an armadillo. Home sick from school I was looking out the bedroom window into my back yard when I saw it.. walking along the fence line sniffing the ground, I suppose looking for food? The thing is armadillo's are not native to this area, so perhaps it was just a figment of a dream I remember. When I mentioned it to my mom later she just sort of looked at me funny, then told me to go back to bed. I never saw the thing again, well I doubt I saw it the first time really? But I could have sworn I did. Then again one Halloween I recall seeing pixies, elves, and witches dancing around a flaming pumpkin in my back yard having some sort of eerie party. When I was sick as a minion, I had a lot of weird dreams.

So why all the talk about dreams and colds? Well with the change in the weather around here, seems I'm feeling icky today. Like the start of a cold, I'm feeling chilled and wish I could go back to bed and sleep the day away. Though with that hoarder unit finally getting finished and being moved into on Friday I can't afford to be absent from work. Knowing that I have to have it cleaned up and ready for the move in. Hopefully the guys have finished installing the new flooring in the kitchen and bathroom and I can get in there today and get it done. Freeing up tomorrow to call in sick and rest up a bit. Who knows? Maybe I'll look out my window tomorrow and see another Armadillo? Stranger things have happened?

Off to shower now....

Had a Mountain Lion walking right down the street in one of the outlying neighborhoods of town and another time it was a Moose 😯 Neither one of them have natural habitat that close to here but yet there they were 😵🤠

The Armadillo may have been a zoo escapee? Along about then ( the middle sixties ) The zoo started putting animals in "natural Habitats" along their train route. Just penned in with fencing, I do recall news stories in the day of a chimp getting loose and heading for the hills through the golf course that was located next door to the zoo. The caught the guy, but he had an adverse reaction to the trank dart and passed away. Have a good one Cowboy!

I was in South Georgia a few years ago and seen a Black Squirrel. I have heard they are Panthers that are black in the near by mountains but, I have never seen one.

Black Squirrel huh? I've seen them on TV. Mostly on that fixer upper show hosted by the two brothers. The camera will do a pan shot, something for a contrast to the renovation shots and show one sometimes. Odd the first time I saw it. I'm used to gray or brown squirrels around here. There are no Panthers around here, we did have a lepord at the local zoo that had so many spots that it looked all black. But if you looked close enough at it's fur you could just make out the outlines of it's spots. Have a good one R2.

I have wild dreams when I eat too close to bedtime. The sugar seems to fuel the crazy train
Have a great day! Hugs!

I don't eat close to bed time, sometimes I'll have something sweet, like a cookie or some pie. The only time I take a ride on the crazy train is when I'm feeling feverish. Have a good one Pony!
