Aside from the stuff left behind the unit I did yesterday was pretty clean. Oh, there was mega damage to it mind you. Someone had kicked in the one bedroom door and the bathroom door. The bathroom door will need replaced. There was cat hair everywhere as well in the unit. But aside from that it looked as though they cleaned the place on a regular basis. I still have the bathroom to clean and put in order, but that's a half hour job tops. No sooner than getting the stairwells finished in Phase three, the boss and the other guy were out salting the walks and steps ... Ugh! What was the point of my sweeping down all the stairwells to get the salt out of them again? Picked up my meds, and helped my daughter out by buying some much need groceries for her and the fam. Running low on side stuff and having plenty of meat for meals, she was just about out of things to go with. Not getting paid till next week I had no problem helping her out, I know she'll pay me back. Besides she carries my butt all over town when I need to get to some place.. so it evens out really. Getting into her car last night I noted the outside temps indicated on the dashboard... sixteen degrees. Burr no wonder I couldn't get warm yesterday with it being that cold out. They say the cold temps will go lower this weekend, then the wind chill factor kicks in, making it colder than what the temp is. Did I say I love winter? No well because I don't. I'd like to call off today, knowing what's waiting for me out there when I step out the door. But I won't. I wonder if I can get away with spending eight hours cleaning that bathroom I've yet to get done? No, I don't suppose that will fly either. Oh well, nothing for it, I'll just bundle up and do it. Though I'd rather be sitting in front of my fireplace and drinking a hot toddy. The good news is they finally came and emptied our dumpsters, the bad news was that I filled one with all the bags of trash that were sitting in front of them. No matter, today is a normally scheduled dump day.. So, hopefully they came this morning to do so and the things are empty again? Any who.. time for me to jump into my shower... the hot water is gonna feel soooo good!
