Interesting take on this story, it always scared me as a child. Don't think I would like a wolf eating me literally either.. I hope you enjoy your evening.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Agreed, most fairy tale stories are seriously messed up!!! In the HBO series The Deuce, a female porn director does a porn remake of the Little Red Riding Hood story. It was entertaining to see the bits and pieces of the movie that were included in the show.

I don't have cable but I have a DVD plan with Netflix so that's how I've been watching the series. I have mixed feelings about recommending it. It's a bunch of different stories of low-lifes in New York during the 70's - prostitutes, pimps, peep show operators, bar owners, etc. Very interesting and very nostalgic to see the clothing, music, cars, etc. - but also a lot of it is a downer... Check out the reviews on imdb to see if you'd be interested. So many places to put ones time, no? In the version I had she was rescued by the woodcutter. I kind of like the rescue version.... Although there is a secret little part of me that likes the abduction part.... Many of the classic fairy tales have been romanticised or 'Disneyfied'. No doubt it was done to make them more pleasing for young readers and their parents. It would be interesting to read the analysis of "Snow White and the Severn Dwarfs" and "Beauty and The Beast".

Yes, I agree...most fairy tales are scary. Hansel & Gretel, where the witch eats the kids...that one always scared the shit out of me!
