I discovered this term several years ago and always have been intrigued by it's meaning. If fact, after deep and meditative thought, I have realized that perhaps I am a sapiosexual. To define Sapiosexuality: means that a person is sexually attracted to highly intelligent people, so much so that they consider it to be the most important trait in a partner.

Intelligence and a sharp wit have always been attractive traits I seek. The combination leads to a very intense and satisfying intimate connection; uninhibited, raw, yet refined.

This doesn't mean I have librarian fantasies; I've never found the Dewey decimal system very sexually liberating. Now, I do enjoy a well choregraphed<b> topless </font></b>(or nude) Vegas club show and viewing women member cams on this site can be very arousing.

Sapiosexuality and raw sexual attraction and lust are not mutually exclusive.

 I think we tend to be attracted to similar people. Consequently, if you are highly educated, you are likely to find such a partner, an equal, to be very attractive. I am not sure if the term applies to somebody who is attracted to somebody much brighter than they are or not. It does seem to be a term that has recently come to prominence.
