Saturday revelations....
It was a productive day for me....

Aside from 2 naps and an afternoon of watching crime shows on Hulu, I decided tackle cleaning my oven.

Now, THAT was a chore!

I'm<b> ashamed </font></b>say... For the entire length of time I've been living in this apartment I have never cleaned that oven.

I would openly gasp at the horrors of just *thinking* about cleaning that oven....

And, yet, there I was!

I wish I could say I was all cutesy and domesticated looking... With my hair pulled up in a messy bun and my black leggings, pink cleaning gloves adorning my delicate hands.

In reality, it couldn't have been any farther from the truth.

"Oh my God mom... That's not a good look on you."

"What are you talking about?"

"Um, look at yourself in the mirror."

Uh.... Yah.

In reality, it was more like Braveheart about ready charge into battle. I'd somehow managed to obtain a black smear below my left eye and my hair was slowly falling out of the nearly non existent messy bun. Instead of a sword and shield in my gloved hands I had oven cleaner and a sponge.

The Spawn was right...

It was NOT a good look on me.

I did mine in stages too. It wasn't the high temp cleaner, so I had to spray it and let it six for 6 hours between stages. Talk about slow and painful...

sure does. i got the oven cleaner, i got the rubber gloves, and took a deep breath, walked into the kitchen...
and that is the exact spot my will ran out the door.

When I get like that, I turn on my music, I pick one small task (usually dishes), and I do it. For me, even when I don't want to, one small thing leads to another. Music helps me.... Starting with the small stuff helps you to accomplish a lot in short bursts of time.

Don't like the song that's playing? Perfect time to vaccum.... Hearing a favorite song? It can lift your spirits....

 I did nothing today and I really have no desire to even see this man on Sunday and my house has not been really cleaned in months. Taking ca'e of my mom and now my depression has gotten the best of me , i just don't want to do anything. Good for you getting it done,
