Milestone 500th post!
Is it possible....

Could it be??

Why, yes, it is! It's my 500th post!

[insert confetti bomb here]

And, celebrate this milestone moment with me is Tilly, the Cat.

Tilly, the Cat, who decided to hop in the shower with me today and freak the fuck out.

Apparently the water falling out of the sky was more than she could handle.... And she clawed the fuck out of my ankle before ripping the shower curtain liner down in a failed attempt at exiting the shower.

It was like a scene from an over reaching sitcom....

Shampoo in my eyes, blindly attempting to calm a feral cat as it claws it's way out of the balled shower curtain liner tangled about my feet.

I couldn't make this stuff if I tried.

I watched her play with a Qtip this morning for 45 minutes. She trucked that thing from room to room to play with while I was getting ready for work. She doesn't even play with her toys like that...

Treats and love were just what the doctor ordered. She's very different from a lot of other kitties.... She loves to hang out with her people and have her paws held. When we're all sitting on the couch, she'll lay up on the back of the couch behind us, usually putting a paw on one of my shoulders.

I think she actually suffers from separation anxiety and has picked up on my routine. Taking a shower means leaving the apartment soon... Mostly she'll just jump up and stare at me through the liner, yesterday was a first as she actually jumped in. She's a lovable little furball who loves her people.
