It hit me like a ton of bricks. It's official, yesterday's laryngitis has developed into full-on cold. It comes complete with eyes that won't stop watering, runny nose, and sore throat. Fantastic!! I can't wait until I go to the Business to Business meeting today where everyone is going to avoid me like I just stepped off the plane from China with the Coronavirus. I'm sure a portion of my body aches and pains are a result of this.... But I also know a good portion of them are from the elliptical machine last night when I thought I was going to collapse and die 15 minutes into my 30 minute cycle. I know now that part of that was because I was probably already starting to feel run down and ill but didn't realize it as I'm sure it progressed over the course of the entire day slowly enough that it was unnoticeable. Thankfully I have an office that I can sequester myself in the good majority of the day.... Thankfully I have decent cold medication that seems to be helping me already this morning.... |

wear one of those hospital 🏥 masks... the way they do in Asia or Japan 🇯🇵. THAT way... you'll be excused from the meeting. Try and slouch and paint dark circles under your eyes 👀. Yep... if you're gonna be sick - might as well milk 🥛 it! 👍 ❗💚

oh lordy, what ever is going around here absolutely sucks. Been sick a week. As for the laryngitis, I once had pretty much just that for 3 long weeks ... the worst thing you can do apparently is whisper. Best thing is not talk at all, and try not to ahem as much as is possible as those make it all worse. GEt better soon with all that is ailing you!!

I have something brewing right now. Every joints aches. I got a flu culture done on Friday and it was negative. Pay attention to this bug- it has settled in my chest and most likely will last 3 weeks. Keep your hands clean and off you face. Hope you feel better really soon- this is the pit

try some Echinacea it raises imune system an knocks out a cold faster.. found at any drug store or walmarts.. its a herb

If you're achy, it may not be a cold. Might be a flu bug. Probably not the coronavirus....unless you've been to China or been exposed to someone who has the virus. But it still sucks that you're not feeling well. Might be a good thing to get checked for flu, though, and possibly get one of the anti viral meds that can help shorten the duration of the hell you've just entered. Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon!
