It is funny how things get imprinted into our brains. In my earliest experiences of discovering my own body I came across my mothers panties. I'm not proud to say that I indeed used those panties to masturbate with. I can remember how great they felt. I moved on from my mother's panties to others. I was lucky enough to be living at that time in a large apartment building that had a laundry room in the basement. I would periodically sneak down there and pilfer a pair or two of panties.  I can very much relate to your early experiences with panties--first with Mom's, then having a first floor apt. just out of college. Laundry down the hall, sneaking down when I heard a washer start and the elevator going up.
