New Years Eve more often then not has been a disappointment for me. There have been a few good nights by far more bad or boring nights. Maybe it's because of the high expectations or I just don't go to the right parties. Or maybe it's just me. Anyway this year I to will be staying home. These days to me it's just another day.

So glad you opted to play it safe for New Years! As much as I would like to celebrate with friends, unfortunately it just is not the right thing to do - I too will celebrate quietly at-home to keep me and my family safe as well as my friends if I were an asymptomatic carrier. Well they said I didn’t look so hot... so they stuck this foot long stick up my nose and into my brain. Twenty minutes later they said I had COVID and they didn’t have room for me so... they stuffed me into a box and asked where I would like to be shipped and I replied Durham Canada 🇨🇦. I hope that’s okay? Haaa just playin.. sitin on the porch lighting firecrackers with the kiddos is where I’ll be for New Years. 123456789 10... ok so all my fingers are there today. And tomorrow...? If you see me. I will see you. If you touch me. I will touch you. If you lick me.. I will melt..

Have a Happy New Years and Birthday. I will be home all night as I gave up the bar seen. You know my Birthday is the day after yours and my Birthday tradition wad always beck to school Christmas vacation.  So nice to be insane; no one asks you to explain.

What am I doing? Cozying up to a steak/potatos/veggies dinner, then plopping my ass on the couch (with cat in my lap) to watch NYE from Times Square on the tele... and a pint of Mint chip ice cream. May your New Years be better then last. I was in my flannels watching Twilight zone . Writing to friends like you . Not even a drink in hand To me it's just another day. I do have one childhood friend birthday is the first. So he is the oldest of our group I'm in the middle July and one one childhood friend is Dec 27. Take life as it comes. We both had our loses last year. Unexpected But we live on till our te comes. Enjoy you day I have a new turn table for Christmas so I'm digging out old album and rocking the house out. The wife said it was for my garage hell no. I want to party like it's 1999. Get back get back to who I once was. Xoxoxoxxo to Joy my friend.
