Sounds like your itinerary is quite full!!

I do not have aspirations to travel the globe...I don't get on airplanes But I will pass along that my dad and his wife have done the Alaskan cruise thing a couple of times and say it is extremely awesome and well worth it!

And yes, whatever you and I do here in Vegas will stay here with me

Good morning. I have done a fair bit of traveling in my lifetime, especially for a Newfie. My best hot spot destination would be Cuba. I was there twice and love it there. I have been to Maui, Germany, Holland and France. Along with traveling across Canada several times and a few northern states.
When you come to Newfoundland, I will be happy to be your personal tour guide to show you the great spots to visit.

Please feel free to read my blog at Losnewf Thoughts

You should think about a trip to Michigan. Lake Michigan in August is wonderful sandy beaches, lighthouses and best of all winery's. If you would like a tour guide I am available

I enjoy cruises as it is a floating hotel with different places and views. You are waited on hand and foot and if you have a partner with you elsewhere.

Have one coming up in the Mediterranean later this month which I am looking forward to.

Don't leave it to late to go where you want

I definitely 'need' to travel a lot more than I have so far.
My uncle (now sadly passed), used to live on the East Lothian coast in Scotland where I had visited him a number of times. This would be my favourite destination.

I went to Seattle a couple of summers ago for an Heated Affairs Blogger Bash... needless to say it was fun meeting other bloggers. The city is beautiful (see my Seattle Cityscape series).

I've been trying to visit a new city every summer... on the agenda this July is San Francisco.

Where is your favorite destination hot spot?
I don't know that I have a favorite but I always love visiting Canada.

Where do you go for your hoildays and was it everything you expected your first time there?
I like road trips so they don't often disappoint me. We've gone to some backwater places doing genealogical field trips and those have been a lot of fun.

One place that really stands out is Terre Haute, Indiana. The main strip through the town is one of the ugliest roads I've ever driven. I had been warned, but you have to see it to believe it. It's a treeless overdeveloped mishmash of confusing intersections, overhead wires and slapdash business construction that wasn't meant to remain standing for six months, and yet did. I wouldn't call it a disappointment either- everybody should see that thing once, and only once.

thanks for sharing author...

I've been blessed as I have traveled to many places... met many people... and looking to meet more and do more...

my bucket list includes (not necessarily in this order):

the pyramids of Giza and the Karnak temple complex...

the great wall(s) of china..

the Galapagos islands

Machu Pichu...

Easter Island...

the Panama Canal...

the space station...

the Hagia Sophia | cathedral, Istanbul, Turkey...

I'd also like to take repeat visits as 'brand new firsts' to:

Singapore

Maui

Paris, Versailles, Nice

Monte Carlo

Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Venice (in cold weather)

I could be talked into others... but, that's a list for me...

thanks for the blog...

Hi author...

I didn't list all of the places...

after all, it is your blog...

I've been to Canada a number of times, but only on business trips to Toronto and Montreal... I caught a Montreal expos game... that was fun... And, I saw the Toronto Blue Jays play (that game was special as Mike Mussina was pitching for the Orioles and Roger Clemens was on the hill for Toronto)... I had thought about going to attend the women's world cup games, but it wasn't in the cards for me this time...

I've been to other places too!!

thanks for the post!
