Freindship

I have been doing some thinking on friendship lately. A few friends and I talked about this subject tonight while we were out. The question that arises is: why do we have the kind of chemistry encapsulated by the word friend with only a few people we know and not scores of others? The closer we look for the answer the more elusive it became. It may not in fact be possible to know or answer, but the characteristics that define a friend relationship most certainly are.
If you have made a true friend then you will always listen to them and make a commitment to your and their happiness. A true friend is consistently willing to put your happiness before your friendship. A true friend won't refrain from telling you something you don't want to hear, something that may even risk fracturing the friendship. If it is a true friendship then nothing should be able to fracture it. That being said a true friend: will not lack the mercy to correct you when you're wrong. A true friend will not ask you to place that friendship before your principles. A true friend is also a good influence on you. He or she always inspires you to live up to your best potential and encourages you to do your best.
There still seems to be an extra factor, an attraction similar to that which draws people together romantically, that cements friends together irrevocably, often immediately, for no reason either person can identify. When you find these people, they're like priceless gems.

friends define who we are ,i believe that with every friend you meet that a lil piece of u lives on to immortality ,even if just a memory ,one of the greatest gifts you can give or receive is a friend .
friends come in many variations,
siblings ,
family,
spouses.
mutual interests ,
but my favorite version ,
is next to you

Friends have no expectations of you, other than to be who you are...the good, the bad, and the ugly,
They know they can trust that you will be yourself and they encourage you to be yourself.
They don't have any pretentious need to associate with you, but gravitate anyway for no particular reason.
True friends make you laugh at anything, including yourself, and can be the reason that you really cry.
True friends stay steady through change, the bad and the good.
You have good friends by being one.

I fully agree with you, if you have a true friend you are a lucky person, but if you think about it, a friend does not refrain from telling you that you are committing, or you made a mistake, in his opinion, even at the risk of breaking the 'friendship, right, but I believe that the true friend is the one who, after having told you that you're wrong, when will' clear that you were wrong is not going to tell them "you see? I told you so"
I at least can not stand this thing .. my opinion

however, unfortunately, often friendships break for economic interests ... or heart, and you feel bad about it, because we were counting, we believed, then you discover that it was not so true that friendship !!

but returning upstream, who finds a friend finds a treasure .. this is the pure truth
