It pains me to leave out (AC/DC; Blue Oyster Cult; Rush; Steely Dan; The Bee Gees; Jim Croce; Janis Ian; Joni Mitchell; Iron Butterfly; The Weeknd; Grand Funk Railroad; The Moody Blues; BTO; Billy Joel; Led Zeppelin; Three Night; CCR, and others)... I hope that I don't burn in hell for these omissions... just sayin'... but, I stand by this list this week!!! This was very difficult for me to do... Very well done. Applaud. Applaud. I'm not a music person such as you and don't think I could come up with my top song names and artists. I just know when I here a song if I like it or not. Good job, challenge completed.

Great list! Virtually impossible to whittle your choices down without having to leave out many great ones. Always knew however that you would accept and rise to any challenge given to you by one of your blog admirers!

Good job, challenge completed. thanks for the challenge. That was fun and tough at the same time... I kept thinking what is the best song... what is the best band... could I include two or more songs from one group... what if left some out (hence the extension to 25 which could have been 100 easy... )... and, we hadn't discussed too many parameters... so, it was wide open... I'm the guy who asks people what group is playing when I hear a song on the radio or in a movie or a television commercial... it drives some people crazy... I have an app on my phone now "Soundhound" that let's me listen to any song... and, it tells me who the artist is... mostly for new bands and songs... Great list! Virtually impossible to whittle your choices down without having to leave out many great ones. It was impossible to narrow down my selection... I even went over 5 because I was torn with the list... I like challenges that make sense... plus, it helps when my readers have acquiesced to challenges I've put out there... I may have to issue some challenges of my own... as it has been awhile since I've done that... and, of course the bloggers that I've challenged have always come thru in flying colors... I mean... I guess I could challenge some here with posting their top 10 songs from their fav band... I don't think that that would be too hard do you? It's interesting that some readers have appreciated the variety of musicians and songs that I have posted this past week... I hope that I haven't exhausted too many of my songs... as you know I like to post song lyrics to blogs that have read... I'll just have to find more... I'm currently working on my October song list... I may post my August song list... hmm...
