........accept the consequences.

Everything we say or do has consequences. If we say something hurtful about someone we can't take it back. Sometimes saying "I'm sorry", is not good enough. In life life there are somethings in life we shouldn't do. There would be consequences if we get caught.
we will be punished! I learned a lesson when I was in my teens. One of the cool , got me to steal a couple of items in my art class, and give them to him. To fit in, I did it. I thought I would get away with it. Unfortunate the art teacher seen me take the items.

She snitched on me! I got my butt whipped, and I was years old! I was grounded for two weeks and my parents has to her $50 for the ceramic vases. The person i gave them to, he got away scott free. I learned a lesson, that if we do something wrong, there would be consequences. I thought I wouldn'H get caught, but getting caught changed my mindset.. I'm not willing to do the crime, for I know i don't want to do the time! So if i'm not willing to accept the consequenses, so I decided to be legit.

I know some good people that do bad things. Wait a minute, if they would good people, they wouldn't do bad things! I have one friend, that should had been a Lawyer. he did a petty crime and talked them into give him probation. He and a few knuckledheads had a bogus check for quite a bit of , So he got $600 in the deal. So he got a two year probation, and he had to $2000 in fines. But to him in his mind, he thought he won! So, I told him, if you going to commit the crimes....accept the consequences".

I saw a piece about consequences once. Everything we say or do has consequences.

A father was building a brand new fence and asked his son to pound 100 10-penny nails into it with a hammer. Then he had his son turn the hammer around, and use the claw to remove the 100 nails. When the son pointed out the 100 holes left by the 100 nails, the father said those were like the holes left in a person's heart after an insult.

Elevate me...

Responsibility and consequences were two huge lessons we drummed into our kids. There is too little of it in our society.
