"NO MATTER WHAT"!

I written this poem years ago, it was about how much my dad loved my mom. She did some things that most men would have left, but he hung in there. But she did some good things for him as well. So, I written this after his death.

I want you, no matter what! I don't care what going on in your life or your world. I want you. Don't push me out and let another take my place. You won the lottery when you got me! No man could love a woman as much as I love you. If there a time your health start to deteriorate, or you lose your site, or the doctor say you got cancer and only a month to live. Have no fear! I'm here for you, no matter what. I chose to spend the rest of my life with you, I don't want nobody else. I know there are times when I can be a pain and annoying. You stuck by me and made me the man that I am. I will forever be in your debt. I'm so glad we are on the same team, I remember when we both was ready to give up., we hung in there and got stronger. I'm here for you and never leave your side. As long as I'm not only your number one, but your only one, I'm here for you. I promise from this day forward till death do us part, I will be your Knight in shining armor, best friend and always pick you up. Even in my death, I would never left you fall. "NO MATTER WHAT"!!!

What lovely words about your parents.
