Proposals It must be either that time of year, perhaps there is something in the air, but I have received several marriage proposals this week. Usually it's maybe...maybe one a month. Hmmm! Now I know some are just kidding around, or looking to break the ice so to speak, but the ones from this week weren't in the vein at all. I also know with some it's just a fantasy thing, they want a woman that enjoys sex, one that is open about it, and... fucks like a bunny. Well....sometimes like a freaky bunny, but I digress. However, It's pretty obvious that they didn't read my profile. Then there are those that are just lonely, but I don't think that this would be the greatest forum to try and choose a spouse, at least not just from the profiles you find on this site. While this is called Heated Affairs, it is mainly geared toward the sex and not so much about long term compatibility. Not to say you can't find that here, but that usually develops over time. Looking at some photos alone shouldn't be an inducement to a marriage proposal. I'm never really sure how to respond to those. While I suppose it's flattering, I'm not looking to encourage them. I'm also not looking to mock them (tho one has to admit there is some humor in the situation). I won't just delete them either, that would be like saying they don't matter as people and I'm sure that whatever possessed them to make that offer has some deep rooted meaning to them. However....if I was to ever find myself completely unattached again, while I wouldn't forgo getting dick, I think I would marry a woman. Just for a change   |

You truly believe that they were serious or legitimate proposals?  I agree with you that someone should not propose to a pic or profile, sounds creepy or sad to me.  Standards are people too.....kinda

Hmm, does sound like a bit of an awkward situation. To put it mildly. Unfortunately, 50% is probably the best you can hope for in not hurting them to some degree, no matter what approach you take to letting them down. On the flip side, without trying to be super-critical, it's not exactly fair for them to put you into that kind of position, either. It might take a certain logical leap, that I couldn't arrive at, to propose something like marriage, from pretty-much any level of interaction on a website. Met in person, yada, yada, yada - maybe? Generally a hot pic is a strong reaction to a hot pic. It moved a man or woman to say.. I could life with that for the rest of my life. A strong woman like you is a fun friend to have. Keep up the good work..
