Reopen to what?

Science and health advice from doctors and public health experts. Trump rejects that.

The CDC muzzled. The U.S. with the most confirmed cases and the most deaths from the virus. We have failed to do a good job due to inept leaders.

California got lucky with Gov. Newsome stepping up in March 2020. But not enough was done in January, February and early March.

The reopening is foolish as no state meets the criteria for reopening.

If you can stay home, work from home and limit your contacts with strangers.

Wear a mask to protect yourself and others.

Drugs are being tested, and vaccines are being tested.

About 5% were infected in Los Angeles; about 20% were in NYC.

More is learned every day. Better to get infected later.

Stay safe and stay alive.

Some have bad luck and some good luck with this Covid 19 virus...

Omg anti t blog. You will have plenty of people telling you to leave the usa for not supporting it. Had a few tell me to leave. Free speech is only for those that support it.

Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth.

If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

This whole thing could have been a lot less of a problem had things been different in November 2016.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

evidently, the sex part isnt working out for you,
and you take it out on others?

what a sad life you must lead.

well said.

and as far as the "lucky" part, i agree, but its more than just "us",
we also have to realize that
we could pass it to others in our families
who could be much less "lucky".

and yes, i also agree - the longer we can avoid infection . . .
this will only diffuse if we lessen its opportunities to spread.

have a nice, safe day

I wouldn't mind so much if re-opening was voluntary for businesses and employees, that we could elect to stay home if we're worried about our health or are caring for someone at high risk.

But for the most part, employees won't get that option. If we plan to keep our benefits and get paid, we'll have no choice but to go back. It doesn't seem as if they're extending sick time benefits like they were before, at least not that I've heard

Its a tough call all around, i certainly understand for business to get back to some sort of norm, and realize that all cant work from home. This virus and its path is just soooo unknown at the moment, its very scary. Just today i read abt how its affecting children in an odd way. We all just have to play by the rules and proceed with cautions, if we choose to proceed .

Personally , i think that those that dont play by the rules, masks, social distancing etc...need to carry around a ..medical service waiver card ....in their wallets. I dont need them in the hospital, taking up and taking away services and life saving equipment from those that did play by the rules....just cause they were an idiot.

Jus sayinnnnn ~~

Many states are reopening even though they have increasing numbers of virus cases and not enough hospital beds for a real surge of cases. Not a good combo...
