I'm taking it seriously. I woke up on a ventilator 20 yrs ago and it was terrifying to say the least. Most everything is open here and many people don't wear protection, but I do.

My 2-cents. The Covid thing is different in different places - even ones that are fairly close. I'm fairly rural but close to a small town. My county has not been hit very hard except for a town (Prescott) and its surrounding towns. They have over half the cases in the county. We are separated from them by a mountain range - we have few cases. South by 100 miles is Phoenix which has a whole lot of cases. I have met women from Phx - but won't right now. I usually meet women from Prescott - I would consider meeting one now after some discussion of the situation. I rarely meet women from my area, because there aren't very many. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

2020 looms as the *year of living dangerously* for far too many Americans. Regarding a possible meet-up with your itinerant admirer: like Alaska, Idaho has met most of CDC's criteria for rebooting. Consequently restaurants, bars, gyms, etc are aggressively reopening. Alaska is now seeing record numbers of new infections, although very few (for the moment) associated deaths. There is also the question of where your admirer is coming from. Is he in-state? Or is he bringing whatever viral-evil lurks in his hometown across state lines, to your doorstep? Personally, that he should even suggest a meet-up prior to building friendship, suggests a cavalier attitude towards the virus. Given that our age group is highly-vulnerable, I wonder if he is even cognizant of the risks he proposes, much less empathetic to them. I am sure he has exhibited one or two redeeming qualities that make bringing your questions forward worth while, but my initial reaction is that taking a *pass* is your prudent course of non-action. Regarding our hope for regime-change in November: it saddens me that BLM has gained its long-awaited traction on blood spilled by police. That said, a critical mass has been achieved and we are witnessing an authentic paradigm shift. Our democracy will be tested at least one more time by events and the evil of this administration, but I am increasingly comfortable that Congress, the Courts and (perhaps most importantly) the military are committed to seeing our leadership vacuum resolved through a (mostly) democratic process.

Distancing, the mandates and imposition of such legal requirements and penalties levied on those that fail to comply --- are the decisions and actions of local elected officials. If people are staying in, not going to work and not even enjoying the time off by going to a park - it's because they are under strictly (selectively) imposed risk of penalty! It's been hyped for both political and financial benefits to the States who reported, didn't report and intentionally manipulated reporting. But the hype starts with 2.2 Million are going to die. 6 months later and we have less than 200K fatalities. On infections rates, a Stanford report indicated there are 50x's to 85x's more infections - and obviously without a corresponding rise in fatalities. On timing: Most believe China reported covid in late January when Trump immediately imposed travel restrictions. He was widely called out for being a xenophobe by Media and the Politicians - - - who were both running fraudulent impeachment hearings (their third attempt) and telling their voters "there's nothing to worry about" at the same time [we'll get back to this]. However, satellite images of hospitals in China and around Wuhan - between August and December 2019 - tell a different story. China appears to have been suffering from covid 6-7 months earlier than they reported. The images also show massive use of van like vehicles presumed to be carrying the dead. That means people from China were infecting the world six to eight months earlier than all these doom-n-gloom Politicians have been claiming. The same doom-n-gloom Politicians are the ones that made the decisions to keep their states in locked-down status, arrest people for violating quarantine rules but wave these rules for the 'fake protestors by day that turn into rioters and criminals by night'. And the 'coup de grace' in all this is - the same Politicians, Elected Officials that are in control of the people and commerce are demanding bailouts from Washington. The only "Ring Masters Making a Mockery of Our Government". . . Are American Voters. It appears that includes you... The dumbest voters in the world. First they tried to elect known criminal "Clinton" for no other reason than she was a "Democrat". The fact that in 2016, she was either part of the Washington Mafia or the most incompetent public employee ever... made no difference at all to 64M voters. Fast forward 3 years and now we know for certain with evidential proof: ...Clinton was/is the Washington Mafia ! Who used several Government Agencies to Spy on her opponent. And 'Spying' ... was only the effort to cover-up political crimes committed between 2009 and 2016. Yet people who have been brainwashed through the propaganda published by the same elected political criminals... say silly things like, "the ring master who is making a mockery of our government" They infer blame on a guy who's been in office for all of three years. They ignore the fact that these problems have existed in growing capacity since the 1990s and the same dumb politicians they elected to fix it 30 years ago, are still in office demanding more money to fix - what today - they are advocating for in the streets. I mean you can't make this stuff up It doesn't get any dumber
