 As a Virgo, ruled by clear thinking Mercury, I know that retrograde "motion" is just an illusion. A left over consequence from the dark ages when the church told us we lived in an earth-centric universe.

If the planets go round the earth then they have to go backwards at times to fit observations - and a planet going backwards really would be a big thing!

But as all planets actually go round the sun, Mercury will continue on its merry way, completely unaffected by how it appears to move to earthlings
